2012 in review

by lewwaters

Thank you Clark County and those outside of Clark County for a good year blogging. The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 160,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 8 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. You are one hot topic exposer there Lew! That is awesome. Can you make money for all that and get paid for your opinion like the more questionable characters down at the local news rag do?

  2. The only way I know of I could make money is by putting up a donation button.

As I understand it, ya’ll see ads when you look at posts (I don’t see them), but that is Word Press doing that since the supply the site free and I only pay $20 a year for extra storage.

  3. I see it is Jack (with his felida bean stock,) Martin and I who are the biggest posters on the blog. Sorry carolyn, you keep posting all of that wonderful, quality work and you, along with Friends of John Galt should get an award for the greatest Clark County content (behing Lew of course!)

    Happy New Year to all!

  4. One of my newest favorite stories, it seems Jay Inslee is cleaning house or telling all of Gregoire’s appointees that they need to reapply for their jobs if they want to stay on. http://www.theolympian.com/2012/12/29/2367528/inslee-hires-area-agency-to-help.htm
