Lazy C Inspires More Benton Dementia

Senator Don Benton

Now that Lefty Lou Brancaccio, the ‘thugly’ editor of the Lazy C, hailing from the pit of ‘thugology,’ Chicago, has succeeded in his efforts to whip up the lynch mob hysteria against Sen. Don Benton (R. 17), it is easy to see that the mania he inspired is rapidly moving into full blown dementia in many of the most ardent Benton haters.

The mere mention of his name in the Lazy C quickly denigrates into insults and even fabrications of claims of what the man is doing.

Case in point is a brief spot that came out late on Dec. 23, 2013 on the Senator requesting an investigation of Planned Parenthood concerning allegations of fraud from the Alliance Defending Freedom, a Christian advocacy group over past billing.

Where we have all complained about the potential for fraudulent claims against the government needing to be investigated and prosecuted if verified, that it is Benton requesting such an investigation quickly leads to comments demanding he ignore this and “do his job.”

I guess working to ferret out fraud is not his job any longer?

That is really kind of funny, considering some of these same complainers are seen complaining about elected officials turning a blind eye to fraud or claims of fraud.

But since it is Benton and he works in two positions, State Senator and Director of the County Department of the Environment, somehow his asking for an investigation into claims of fraud becomes wrong.

There is actually very little said in the Lazy C piece, but the comments left under the piece by the Lazy C faithful liberals is what enters into full blown dementia.

Where Sen. Benton’s letter to the State Auditor and Press Release makes no mention of abortion, we are treated to the tired old claim of Planned Parenthood not being in the abortion business.

Showing the extent of hate against the man, one hater comments on wishing abortion could be performed “retroactively,” an apparent slur against Sen. Benton, indicating that hater hope that the man had never been born.

Another well known hater claims it “sounds like Don Benton is anxious to start amassing a campaign war chest.” All because he is acting responsibly in asking for an investigation into allegations of fraud, even saying that the allegation must first “be verified.”

Isn’t that what both sides have been asking for over several years? An end to fraud? Responsible actions by our elected officials?

And does his also being appointed to be the Director of a County Department remove his responsibility to voters & taxpayers to be a “wise steward” of our tax dollars?

I think not.

But the Lazy C is working off a 20 year hatred of the man, a personal hatred that for whatever reason completely blinds them to his actual effectiveness in representing the people.

Perhaps it is that effectiveness that the thugs at the Lazy C that inspires their own hate, since he has blocked or weakened many Liberal agendas over the years that the Lazy C felt they had in the bag.

And yes, he is a “bull in a china shop” so to speak. But in politics that is what is required at times to stop destructive agendas by those more interested in moving us away from a Representative Republic into more of an oligarchy form of government.

Xmas ColumbianI don’t know the origin of their hate, but it is so deeply seated and so widespread in the few people still commenting that the hysteria is evolved into outright dementia in some.

Before you fall for the Lazy C’s hate or buy into some of the silly comments left by haters, I invite you to actually read the full Press Release from Sen. Benton and the actual letter he sent to the State Auditor for yourself.

See for yourself that he is acting in a responsible manner and doing what we hope elected officials do, be wise stewards of our resources.

After the Christmas Holiday I will be giving more evidence of Benton’s effectiveness that draws only ridicule from the demented Lazy C, so check back in a few days.

I Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and that the spirit of the season might somehow enter Lefty Lou’s Thugocracy to stop the hate and actually report news objectively.

Hey, I can always dream, can’t I?

Senator Don Benton was strolling through the Portland Zoo when he saw a little girl leaning into the lion’s cage.

Suddenly, a huge, hungry lion reaches out and grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside his cage.

Sen. Benton sprinted past the little girl’s screaming parents to the cage and punched the lion square on the nose.

The stunned lion released the little girl and staggered backward, whimpering in pain. Benton snatched the little girl back to safety and returned her to her terrified parents who thanked him endlessly.

A new reporter for the Columbian witnessed the whole event. “Sir,” he says to Benton, “that was the bravest, most gallant thing I’ve seen a man do in my entire life.’

“Why, it was nothing, really,” says Sen. Benton modestly. “The lion was behind bars. I saw this little girl in danger and I just reacted instinctively.”

“Well, I’ll make sure your heroism won’t go unnoticed,” the reporter responds. “I’m a reporter for the Columbian and I’ll make sure this story is on the front page of tomorrow’s paper. Tell me what do you do for a living and what political affiliation is.”

“I’m State Senator Don Benton,” he said proudly.

The reporter left and reported to editor Lou Brancaccio..

The following morning Don buys a copy of the Columbian to see news of his actions and sees this headline on the front page:

  1. No worries Lew. The jokes will start with “An editor walks into a bar…” Very real stories will be told of the outrageous antics of these people. The kids will have actual bad guys (and gals) doing bad things, to write new scripts, to recount a very dark time in American history. McCarthy was an amateur comparably speaking. The thievery alone that they have sanctioned is epic. I could go on and on and on. We face a most serious threat to the Republic, and that is all I need to know.

  2. Well said Jj! We will all be telling stories of these elected officials for decades. I tell the ones from Oregon of corruption I old Chinatown with prostitution and drugs and gambling. Of Vera Katz selling off port property to a developer in exchange for an airport max line. Of lies and deceit of Ron Wyden and he seems tame in comparison to our Patty Murray. Patience and endurance coupled with truth shall win this long war against those who would cheat us of our freedom!

  3. I’m no fan of Benton for a myriad of reasons, but agree that if there’s evidence, or rumors of fraud, they need to be investigated (regardless of political ideology). And it was is poor taste to allow the “retroactive abortion” comment to stand.

  4. I was banned from the Columbian for criticizing their reporting on Tim Leavitt. These outrageous comments about Don Benton violate the Lazy C own standards. Double standards are no standards at all. Lou has no integrity.

  5. Thanks for the post. Very informative.

  6. what a load of bullcrap

  7. If nothing else, Brancaccio’s once made claim of “We Try Not To Be Anybody’s Friend Or Anybody’s Enemy” is shown to be a load of bunk.
