Thanks for sharing this Lew. We swore that we would never vote for Herrera Butler again after she refused to endorse Donald Trump two years ago however this seems to be a situation where we must select the lesser of two evils space spac we swore that we would never vote for Herrera Butler again after she refused to endorse Donald Trump two years ago however this seems to be a situation where we must select the lesser of two evils. I know that Trump has endorsed her but the center what she did to years ago will not go away

Sometimes it necessary to hold your nose and vote.
But it also has to be recalled, as mentioned in a recent Lazy C post, “Herrera Beutler votes with the party and President Donald Trump’s position 91 percent of the time.”
Herrera Beutler ranked No. 15 for bipartisanship
I don’t think a more conservative candidate could win the 3rd. I don’t know the reason for sure (I suspect an influx of Oregonians and Californians to be the cause), but the 3rd is becoming more liberal. The fact that a carpetbagging leftist would even gain any traction in the district proves that. Jaime Hererra Beutler is ‘close enough for government work’ in my opinion. Also, she has done several positive things for the region, and is a strong pro-life representative, and as Lew noted, has voted with Trump more than 9 times out of 10.
