Even Democrats Not Safe From Jim Moeller’s “Garbage”

by lewwaters

I’ve already given a couple examples of Jim Moeller (D 49) own “garbage” he has expressed over time towards Republicans. But his “garbage” has not been reserved solely for the Republicans. Anybody that is not in lock-step with Moeller is subjected to such “garbage.”

For a refresher over this 2012 incident, please see Of “Self Inflicted Wounds” and “Fairly Horrible Experiences” and Why Was Jon Haugen ‘Sanctioned’ By the Democrats?

Jim Moeller’s “Garbage” Pt. 3

by lewwaters

Part three revealing Jim Moeller’s own “garbage” spewed from his own mouth, as he whines about “garbage” from others.

Jim Moeller’s “Garbage” Pt. 2

by lewwaters

Part two showing some of the “garbage” that has come from Rep Jim Moeller (D. 49) over the years, since he wrote under a Lazy C post,

“I can hardly believe some of the garbage that comes out of (so-called) Republican mouths. It’s time the moderates jettison the religious-right and Tea-Party factions within the Republican party and have them form their own.”

I can’t help but wonder why he campaigned against outgoing President Bush and International issues instead of what he planned to do as a state legislator.

Jim Moeller’s “Garbage” Pt. 1

by lewwaters

Very recently, Rep Jim Moeller (D. 49) wrote a comment under a Lazy C post,

“I can hardly believe some of the garbage that comes out of (so-called) Republican mouths. It’s time the moderates jettison the religious-right and Tea-Party factions within the Republican party and have them form their own.”

With that thought in mind, I looked back at some of Jim Moeller’s own speeches and will be periodically posting video excerpts of the “garbage” we have seen coming from him over the years. First part above.

Who’s Doing “Stupid Stuff?”

by lewwaters

If Don Benton warning Ed Barnes of the potential of a lawsuit over his vitriolic outbursts is considered “doing stupid stuff,” then what is Ed Barnes threatening to sue every elected official that doesn’t abide by his desires?

Why is there no outcry over Ed Barnes threats like was whipped up over Benton’s?

When the Shoe Is On The Other Foot

by lewwaters

Dem Jackass 3It never ceases to amaze me seeing the blatant double standard practiced by Democrats today.

I received a notice by email from Politico stating, “Senate Republicans have blocked the nomination of Robert Wilkins to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, the third such rejection to the court in three weeks. Wilkins failed to garner 60 votes to break the GOP filibuster, 38-53.”

“The fight over judges could spill over into another confrontation over changing Senate rules by a majority vote, in which Senate Democrats seek to curtail the GOP’s filibuster use by invoking the so-called ‘nuclear option’.”

For refutation of their threat of the so-called “nuclear option,” let’s look at some words spoken by the former sweetheart of the Democrat party, now deceased, Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts, from back in 2005 when the Democrats were blocking judicial nominations left & right.

Obama’s Message to Unions

by lewwaters

I wonder just how many walk-outs he called for as a community agitator, organizer?

Barack, a wise old saying goes, “caution, place brain in gear before putting mouth in motion.”

UPDATED: Partisan / Nonpartisan Hackery at the Lazy C

by lewwaters

Columbian FishwrapThe political bias of the Lazy C, the Columbian newspaper has been established several times on this blog and others. In spite of that, Editor Lou Brancaccio still tries the spin that they are not biased and in fact are “friend to nobody.”

We know that is not truthful as all we have to do is look over the many years they promoted the now defunct Columbia River Crossing light rail project while diligently working to hide and cover-up many negatives, if no marginalize them.

They are well known to be little more than a daily newsletter for the Democrat Party and once again, we see their blind partisanship glaring at us from the front page of the Sunday, July 7, 2013 edition with the article Political parties take increasingly active role in nonpartisan elections.

Wine, Pizza and Music, Oh My

by lewwaters

GrapesAdmittedly, not a subject I have been paying a lot of attention to, but it seems our growing wine industry in North Clark County is ruffling a few feathers and has the County Commissioners considering placing more restrictions on them to satisfy those who live around the winery’s.

I’m not known for visiting the wineries since I don’t drink, but have visited some larger wineries many years ago in the Russian River area of California and found it to be a very pleasurable experience.

But those are very large wineries, like internationally renowned Korbel. Our local wineries are much smaller and less well known but to many local residents who tell me of many pleasant visits to taste the wine offered, maybe listen to music and enjoy a pizza or some pre-packaged food since they are barred from being a restaurant by county ordinance.

Rep Ed Orcutt to Bicyclists, “Pay Your Fair Share”

by lewwaters
Ed Orcutt

Ed Orcutt

UPDATE: Orcutt has apologized for making the comment to the cyclist, but doesn’t retract the claim made.

It’s not often that I applaud a legislator for a tax increase, but when I see one throwing blatant hypocrisy back in the faces of those who deserve it, I have to give them credit for doing so.

Washington State 20th Legislative District Representative Ed Orcutt, a Republican has done just that and has the ardent bicyclers up in arms as Washington State Democrats are proposing a slew of tax and fee increases for an ambitious transportation bill.

Their measure also includes a $25 tax to be charged on bicycles costing over $500 along with a 10 cent per gallon increase in the gas tax, an increase in excise tax on car licenses, a hike in the hazardous substance tax and new county auditor fees for car license tabs and title transfers.

While many bicyclists aren’t all that much opposed to the increases, they are becoming very outspoken in opposition to a tax on their preferred mode of transportation, bicycles.

What Difference Does It make?

by lewwaters

By now most everybody has heard of Hillary Clinton’s little outburst in her testimony concerning Benghazi and the death of 4 Americans in a terrorist attack that first labeled aspontaneous protest over some film critical of Islam, the film maker still in prison after the truth was revealed.

In the midst of a heated exchange between her and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) she abruptly blurted out at one point, “Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk last night who decided to kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?”

As the willing accomplices of our lamestream media who can’t uncover anything revealing on this administration and carry their water continually, you have to wonder how they would have reacted if other leaders in the past were to blurt out anything like “what difference does it make?”

More Liberal Democrat Double Standard

by lewwaters

Now that rebels in Libya are close to overthrowing Qadhafi, the following photo has shown up.

First off, can any liberal explain what is wrong with a little physical work? Has Obama ever actually performed any physical work? I doubt it, not with the soft hands I see on TV.

Two Public Records Request on Jim Jacks Mysterious Quitting Rebuffed

by lewwaters

UPDATE Nov 3, 2017: Finally the rumors have been confirmed, almost seven years later

As is well known, Democrat representative for Washington State 49th legislative district abruptly quit march 25, 2011, giving no reason and saying only it was for “personal family reasons he did not want discussed publicly.” Pressing for more information on the Columbian website elicited rebuffs from Columbian editor, Lou Brancaccio, here and here.

Lou said in his Saturday column last week that they are seeking answers too, many commenters disbelieving that.

Eric Smith with Washington State Wire has up an article now, Mum’s the Word on the Jim Jacks Mystery  Records Requests Rebuffed – Strict Public Records Rules Don’t Apply to Legislature.

Eric lets us know that there have been two requests submitted for records that may clear up the mysterious and speculative sudden quitting in the middle of a legislative session. One by Washington State Wire and the other by Austin Jenkins of National Public Radio who publicly posted his request in a blog site post, A Lack Of Transparency Surrounding Jim Jacks Sudden Resignation.
