Just What Was All of That Fuss Over Homosexual Marriage Again?

by lewwaters

If you call a tail a leg, then how many legs does a cow have? Four, because calling a tail a leg doesn’t make it one.”

Pig Bride & GroomThe above riddle, most often credited to Abraham Lincoln, begins a well thought and expressed essay by Thomas Wenski, Archbishop of Miami, Florida concerning the potential of the Supreme Court doing away with the Defense of Marriage Act, signed into law by former President B.J. Clinton on September 21, 1996 that prohibits the federal government for legally recognizing homosexual marriage as legitimate.

The essay arrives at a compelling conclusion;

“As an institution marriage precedes both Church and State — while both within their proper spheres can certainly regulate marriage, neither has the authority to create the meaning of marriage. The Supreme Court Justices would do well do remember Lincoln’s aphorism – even if you call a tail a leg, it’ll still be a tail. Calling the mutual sexual gratification of same sex couples ‘marriage’ won’t make it so either.”

As we know, homosexuals have long sought legitimacy for their lifestyle and have been pushing for full marriage rights, relying on the old arguments of labeling those who defend more traditional marriage as “homophobes,” “bigots” and what have you.

While Constituents Struggle, Jim Moeller Frets Over Liz Pike’s Position on R-74

by lewwaters

It has long been known that Jim Moeller is pretty much a single issue representative, wanting first and foremost to promote what he refers to as “equality” for homosexuals. As we saw in the legislative session earlier this year, a $1.5 Billion budget gap took a back seat to ram-rodding a homosexual marriage bill through, wasting half of the session and causing the legislature to have to enter special session after Republicans and 3 Democrats stopped yet another Democrat inspired “kick the can down the road” hurry-up budget.

Continuing in that mindset, several times now Moeller has hounded Republican candidate for the 18th Legislative District, Liz Pike to state her position on Referendum 74, a measure to be voted on in November statewide to allow voters to say whether or not homosexuals in Washington State should marry.

Black Pastors Furious With Obama Over Homosexual Marriage

by lewwaters

Politicians, don’t feel you have people in your pocket and ignore them.

So much too for homosexuals equating themselves to the Civil Rights struggle of Black People in the 1960’s.

Jim Moeller Declares Vancouver a “Thriving Queer Mecca”

by lewwaters

Under the guise of “Gateway to Equality,” homosexuals will descend on Esther Short Park, Saturday July 14, 2012 for their 18th Annual LGBT Pride Event and issuing the call of “Come Celebrate LGBT Pride at America’s Only ‘Family Friendly’ Pride Event.”

In the invitation to the event, posted by none other than our own 49th legislative district representative Jim Moeller says of the event, “As proof of Vancouver’s rise as a thriving queer mecca, Advocate.com recently named the city the sixth most gay-friendly city in America, making it the top West Coast city for LGBT people.”

“Queer Mecca” Jim? Is that what homosexual’s see our community as now, a Mecca for queers?

Besides being a city in Saudi Arabia, Mecca also means “A place that is regarded as the center of an activity or interest.” If Vancouver really is a “Mecca for Queers,” can they rightfully retain their “Protected class” status over others? Wouldn’t they be the majority in this newly declared “Queer Mecca?”

And what of Jim’s use of the word “Queer?” Why does he describe his orientation as “Queer” when if I did, I am committing hate speech?

Proof Reading, It’s Not Just for Spelling

by lewwaters

We all love media bloopers and the media is not slacking when it comes to providing them. We thank the Seattle Times for the following.

It didn’t take long for the headline to be updated, but not before several grabbed screen shots of the faux pas to spread the joy of their error.

Then again, maybe without realizing, it was admission of why the strong push of late for homosexual marriage while ignoring a struggling economy.

North Carolina Bans Homosexual Marriage While California Seeks to Ban Homosexual Therapy

by lewwaters

Considering that as of yet, not one single state that has approved homosexual marriage has done so by a public vote, the State of North Carolina joined in with 30 other states across the land in approving, by a vote of citizens a constitutional amendment to their state constitution banning homosexual marriage.

Even though much better funded, opponents to North Carolina’s ‘Amendment 1’ lost their bid to defeat the ban on homosexual marriage by a large margin, 61% to 39%. North Carolinians turned out in droves in support of banning homosexual marriage in their state with a constitutional amendment that would stop any activist judges from declaring the legislated ban “unconstitutional” should any homosexual group challenge the previous ban in courts.

Sure to anger Progressives who are intent on undoing the long held traditions of the United States, much credit for the defeat is being given to the Churches in North Carolina who supported the constitutional amendment banning homosexual marriage.

Homosexual Mob Vandalizes Portland Church. Will Washington Be Next?

by lewwaters

If you read the Columbian, you probably missed the small blurb Tuesday, April 24, 2012 Vandals break windows at Portland church, since apparently a conscious effort was made to hide that those claiming responsibility for the vandalization are a self proclaimed homosexual activist group labeling themselves “Angry Queers.”

What they did not minimize was that homosexual group’s dislike the Mars Hill Church in Portland “for its views against homosexuality,” meaning they believe in biblical scripture and do not embrace the homosexual agenda.

KOIN 6 received an anonymous email claiming responsibility for the cowardly act of smashing century old stained glass windows at the church. They report,

“A gay-activist group, identified only as ‘angryqueers@’ in an anonymized email address, has claimed responsibility. In an email to KOIN, a reported member of the group said ‘Mars Hill is notoriously anti-gay and anti-woman’.”

“The sender took issue with Mark Driscoll, Mars Hill’s head pastor, saying Driscoll has said women need to be subservient to their husbands and that gay people are a cancer. Members of this southeast Portland church deny these claims.”

The act has drawn the condemnation of several different religious and homosexual group representatives, reports the Portland Mercury.

Rep. Moeller, “Constituents Make a Sham Out Of the Process”

by lewwaters

It’s no secret that Democrat Jim Moeller, Representative for the heavily Democrat 49th Legislative District in Washington State is pro taxes. We have even nicknamed him “Da Taxman” over this love of hanging more and more taxes on the backs of taxpayers, even though his district is in the 4th year in a row of double digit unemployment.

To combat this ‘tax happy’ attitude of Olympia Democrats, who have maintained a stranglehold on the state government for over a decade now, voters have repeatedly passed constitutional initiatives requiring the legislature to have a two thirds ‘Super Majority’ vote in order to stick more taxes on us.

Each has been discarded by the governor and legislature as soon as legally possible, giving the Democrat majority an easier time taxing us to death.

Enter Tim Eyman’s Initiative 1053 in 2010 once again requiring the legislature to achieve that two thirds majority to impose and raise taxes on us or put them to the voters for a majority vote. The initiative was passed by voters with a wide 64% margin statewide. Locally, including Moeller’s own district he says he represents, it passed by a 71.3 percent margin.

Completely ignoring that the “will of the people” is that the legislature require such a two thirds Super Majority vote for taxes, Special Interests and some Democrats, including Jim Moeller filed a lawsuit against the people’s voice claiming, “Changing the constitution and our right to vote by initiative, no matter what percentage it passed by, is unconstitutional.”

The right to Citizen Initiative is written into the Washington State Constitution, Article II Section 1.

The case was recently argued before King County Superior Court Judge Bruce Heller and is in his hands.

The “Whims of the Majority”

by lewwaters

In the February 1, 2012 debate over homosexual marriage rights in Washington State, State Senator Lisa Brown, a member of the Democrat majority gives her reasons for opposing allowing voters in the state to voice their views through a public vote.

I guess it escapes Ms. Brown that the homosexual marriage bill passed in the Senate and the House by a “whim of the majority” there?

Isn’t it funny how majority rule only counts when Democrats are the majority?

Predicting John Laird’s Sunday, February 5, 2012 Editorial

by lewwaters

I predict John’s Sunday editorial will be a slobbering approval of the Senate passing homosexual marriage and he will not even mention the $1.5 Billion budget gap still facing the state that has not been a priority.

UPDATE: I was wrong. Instead of slobbering all over himself for the homosexual marriage passing in the Senate, John decided to once again go on a rant and bash Sen. Don Benton, Republican of course over wanting to see English as our official language.

Oddly enough, Laird ends his rant with, “Other legislative priorities? Like balancing budgets, creating jobs and improving schools? Hey, this ain’t Buckaroo’s first rodeo. He leaves that stuff to the rookies.”

Isn’t that exactly what we have saying as the legislature has wasted nearly half of the session promoting homosexual marriage?

And to show what a sick perverted mind Laird has, he also pens, “And as a musician, I can keep a steady beat with ‘Oye como va,’ the Latin rock classic made popular by Santana. And when Patti LaBelle belts out ‘Lady Marmalade,’ I can slap a pretty good drawl on ‘voulez-vous coucher avec moi (ce soir)’?”

That last sentence translates to “would you sleep with me (tonight)?”

Occubride to Wed Seattle Building

by lewwaters

We don’t call them the looney left for no reason 😉

From reports by MyNorthwest.com and KOMO News

Babylonia Aivaz who boasts of being arrested weeks ago as one of the occupiers who seized the building, now proclaims her love of the building by announcing her plans to marry it. She states, “I’m doing this to show the building how much I love it, how much I love community space and how much I love this neighborhood. And I want to stop it from gentrification,” after trying for a stretch equating her marriage to the building to the Citizens United Supreme Court decision where corporations were equated to people.

Not to Babylonia, corporations are comprised of people. Buildings are comprised of brick, mortar, wood, steel and other materials.

As the state is focused on same sex marriage in the legislature, Babylonia states she will have an ordained minister officiating at her “Gay Wedding.”

Wedding March for Babylonia

UPDATE: Photos of the “Gay Wedding” here. The “Bride” declared this as a “Gay Wedding” based her also declaring the warehouse to be a woman.
